Also coming up is my birthday( May 1st) which kind of serves as a second new year’s day for me. Reaffirming your beliefs and dreams so it is kind of an important day for me. I take some time for this as I also get some planning done on how to get there in the fastest point. After I post this round of fanfics this will be it for a while. I will be trying to focus more on other projects so I am going to take some time and get some planning. Hopefully I will be able to get things going at a pace I like it will also be nice to take a couple days off throwing myself at it without burning out.

Update for you peeps ( Peep Show #1 )

So I got my fanfiction done. Working on typing it and soon a new batch of designs will be coming. Also this will be something of a monthly thing because the people who follow this make me happy to continue to keep doing this. So in this the first peep show ( The title taken  from a wrestling segment) Let’s take a look around.

Fanfiction advice and update.

So I am almost done writing this round of fanfiction. As I had put a couple months previous I only have a couple to go and this round has been very illuminating. When you write with preset characters you see how you like to do things, and your style becomes more definable. It also allows you to try some thing you would not normally write about. whether it be very emotional scenes or very action packed ones you can get a fair bit of practice with things you know. I used to do more technical writing. Things that were directions when something had to be done when I was not present in person.

That and I am a class A sucker for a really sappy romance. Always was so being able to get comments from people and hear what they liked or did not like. Posting something online you will always have some problems with people who just want to rip you apart without actually thinking about their comments. There is a difference between constructive criticism and just trying to be hurtful. Which in my case trying to be hurtful over the internet is like trying to cause a paper cut with a soggy oreo. It just is not going to happen. 

So I am almost done and if you want to start with fanfiction the best information I could give is to just jump right in. Find a show or a game that you want to do something before just jumping in.

3 months in goal check.

So I say the word dreams so much it is kinda funny. However, it is a concept I do believe in. So as one cannot preach without practicing it. Here is how things are looking after three months.

Zazzle : Logic that’s why is the most popular shirt and I am getting a small trickle of sales ( A couple here and there) Currently working on a batch of final fantasy designs.

Recording – Need better equipment

Pro wrestling training – Saving for it

Writing for funds – Learning that aspect

Draw more – Working slowly on it

L.o.l team – Still one short but we are still practicing 😀

As you can see there is a lot I am trying for. Gotta go big when your on your last life.

With that in mind how are you doing with your dreams since the beginning of the new year? I hope you all ( I am legit surprised to see that between just on the wordpress page. I have close to 200 subscribers Thanks for everything so far and if we can hit 250 I am going to do my best to come up with a couple really good.

Progress Report 3/1/13

Hello, all and here is what got done.

The team is practicing for the magic grand prix, but not letting that stop us we decided to down our sodas and raise our game with new videos. Hate mail Magic Turn Phases 106 and Shooters and Grinders 2 with Senore Rage Face. We have more videos coming so if your bored give us a view, we appreciate it. League of Legends has begun to make it in to the training schedule, as it stands we are still far out from our goal, but updates will be given when needed.

One is the classic souffle this time paired with a fruit sauce with the other being a surprise cupcake that  my roommate and I had made for a convention before.

Updates and decisions

So apologies for the rant, in better news we have more videos up on the youtube channel for people who want to learn magic. The third batch of designs are about half way done and for the first recipe I wanted to show off on this blog I finally decided on a personal favorite. Eggs Magda!

Eggs Magda is a special version of scrambled eggs where the cheese and mustard match with the green onion or chive depending on what you have and the texture is so smooth you would think its like cream until you taste it. Completely done cheesy scrambled eggs french style coming at you soon.

Fanfiction first round review and second round of fan fic ideas

I do my fanfiction in rounds to try different things and see how things are. It helps me get to try many different things and looking back here are some of my problems that I may have in some of my work according to reviews.

Grammar – That will take more time.

Some OOC ( Out of Character ) moments in really experimental writing styles

Stories are too short ( Most of my fanfiction ranges between 750 – 3000 words )

Good points: Romance people actually enjoy

Female main romance ( Female characters being the emotional rock)

Good details when I am sticking to small things to try out.

Good personality evolution

Strong emotion and mostly in tune writing style to the original source material. One comment I had gotten said how similar it was to the writing style of the anime in this case Outlaw Star, colored me happy.

Starting on the seventh I will begin doing random recipe stuff here so I can keep things and experiment on how to do things on the food blog when that gets running. Videos are continuing.

Hitting the books – What I want to write

As I may have alluded to I want to do some publishing somewhere before my funeral.

One is something called 100 Ingredients: Home Edition. This book would be just talking about how different ingredients are handled and common applications over different recipes. This is going to be for people who are not the most comfortable in the kitchen. I was hoping to do more books in this line of thought with different sets of ingredients. That’s putting things too far ahead though. People who know how to cook will have something to gain from reading it. It has recipes in it, but it will be more focusing on the ingredient so you ( the readers ) can come up with your own recipes a lot easier.

The second is called Life, Love and Cooking. It is set up so you can read one page for every day of the year and it goes over dishes, experiences I have had in the kitchen, Working in the industry and some of the adventures I have gone on. Other cooks can laugh at some of the mistakes. People who want to get in the industry know some of the goings on. People who burn water will hopefully not and every one wins.

The typing is done on both and I have gotten some good returns from agents just not good enough to be contract worthy. Yet.

Fanfiction

Fanfiction is the act of taking a previously made set of characters from a media source and using your own imagination and writing style creating a story from it. Often times fanfiction will push certain characters as a couple or have another plot outside of the series or game it came from. Fanfiction is a very popular form of entertainment for some of the more devout fans of a series or game. The stories ore often held either on websites for a certain category or pairing with a couple being open to many different kinds of fanfiction.

I use it to try different things as well as writing styles I’m not comfortable with. So when I have some time and the thought to add to a fanfic or stop a couple I don’t think I can save right now then either way I can learn from it.
