Kata In Administrative Violence

There is something in me that wishes wholeheartedly that makes me want to compete, and I know my body just does not take to it very well, it had been many years since heavy competition and every time I train often ends to me usually hurt and trying to tape myself together before getting even more hurt. What could be so painful as having a mind that is fine and a body that could be the cage, well sometimes one has to work within one’s capability and that means having to deal with the pain of what could have been needs to go away because in the new time one has to do the new things and through it great things can still be done.

For me I hate how my body breaks down but I have been doing more stretching and pushing different things further to try and get back some semblance of the energy I once had, and now despite the passing out at random times for certain things it means I can at least try to keep going.

Why am I yammering on like this? Well, right now there 8, yes 8 books to be edited and the end of this nano means one large fanfic project and another book so by the end of the month so there could be 9 or even 10 of them things get really pushed to the brink. Then there is the stuff with the food and then there are things coming together through some application of administrative violence.

Administrative violence is the practice of using the system against those who are being the pain in your ass and can be very useful as some days pass and people do not learn the lesson for not screwing with you. I would suggest everyone learn some administrative violence fighting technique and you will find yourself much more accepting of what cannot be changed and much more capable on the facets that can be.

Typey Typey Typey

Shattered Reflections is just about 30k in words with a goal at just about 65k. What gets me more then the writing is the typing because now to allude to 2 the Ranting Gryphon. I have a shoulders and neck made out of candy corn. Things happen it just cuts my speed in half, and I have gone over that before. That does not mean that we can’t learn from it. I hate having something negative. I do not like cons that can’t be turned in to a pro through either a style change or something.

Despite my speed being dropped by half, but it has given me a better process to add or edit details in the various forms of typings. Maybe exchanging the speed of the old school gunman for more of the calculation of the sniper if we want to look at it in a action hero inspired light.

Looking at NaNoWriMo coming up all I would hope is that my big two writing projects are at least typed up. That will be difficult to do, but part of me is kinda relishing the challenge because I know what I can do the question is can it be pulled off. Can the mental strength get past all the problems that may pop up physically. Which is the stronger side of people, mental or physical?

To get some of the works done would be great to have it ready to go and then more of the advertising would begin again. If the pictures can be added to the other books then there is a possible of four books that could be released. Wanting to be a writer that can sustain on his own works can be. Trying to break in as writing for a job has been a little more difficult. That’s okay though because the harder the trip, the sweeter the victory.

Progress update 7/30

Alison learning was finished for now and know I have three diplomas. One in customer service sciences, and yes there is such a thing. Another in children’s studies going over how children of different ages react and learn and the methods of the past that has been shown to be somewhat reliable for that. The last is in probability so I can at least tell what my odds are when I try to do something. It may not mean anything to add to the resume, but the set up was easy to continue while being very informative.

Magic wise we are still having issues, but a lot more have been ironed out. Soon after that we will be advertising the revamp and getting all that stuff set up is taking a lot of time out of the night. It is going to be fun at grand prix starting in less then ten days.

Advertising wise the youtube channel will also be advertised with the e-book so I got a lot to learn about the next few weeks.

Doing some more writing to get more experience.

Shirt designs have been on the back burner.

One needs to get the most of opportunities.
One also needs more time in the day and more caffine.

The bad with the good

As much as I wish I could say that life was perfect this week. It would be not just a bold faced lie, but underlined to boot. So learning how to edit videos with a new program with problem after problem coming up in my personal life. Trusting people when I should be able to only to learn that sometimes life is not how you think of it .

Sometimes you need the bad in life to train you. You need the hardest things life can give you mentally and physically to test your mettle. My life has never been the hardest their are billions who have lived much worse then I have. There are billions who have lived much better.

So when things are not working one cannot languish in the what’s and the why’s for it is too easy to do. Due to my editor not wanting to move at a quicker pace I will be learning the program.

Grand prix is coming and I hope you all reading this find the ability to stand through your hard times. I am off to burn the midnight oil.

Stuffed Chicken with cheddar and mustard sauce

So with this recipe your going to need the following for one plate

2 4oz portions of boned and skinned dark meat chicken, 2 oz cheddar, 3 slices of bacon, olive oil for pan frying. For the sauce add a tablespoon and a half of dijon mustard, a tsp of honey, and a quarter cup of heavy cream.

So start out with your pan on medium heat and begin to cook your chicken after both sides have been flipped and cooked through. Stuff them with cheddar and let it sit for a moment while the bacon cooks. Drain the pan of your fry oil before dropping your bacon in to the pan. Cook your bacon through while making sure that it does not turn to glass. This will be the layer between your sauce and the chicken.

While this recipe is very rich the sauce should have a very refreshing bite. Either from the horse radish and acidity in the mustard or from additional seasoning. Other ways you can roll it is using addition of chives or cayenne pepper for additional color. The light heat of the seasoning or the fresh aroma of the chopped chives adds anew dimension to this. When you make the sauce all you have to do is put it all in a clean pan let it simmer after whisking together until the volume decreases by a third to a half.

Layer your bacon on top of your chicken and pour the sauce on top of the bacon gently then enjoy. So hope you enjoy and hopefully after eating this you get one step closer.

3rd round zazzle shirts.

Over the past nine days we have had a lot of fun. The third set of shirts have been finished and while the artistic integrity is not quite at the level where I want it. It definitely shows improvement.

These were a couple from the last batch one is more simplistic while the other shows the artistic side. The second one is also a shirt a friend of mine and a rabid Nippon Ichi game fan wanted me to make. It is now the wallpaper on his computer. Souffle had to get pushed back because once again life decided to muck with my carefully laid out plans. It happens though so I have not forgotten. When life makes changes to your plan then own those changes though. If anyone has a moment you can take a look at my zazzle store through the links. Fanfiction first round review and second round of fan fic ideas

I do my fanfiction in rounds to try different things and see how things are. It helps me get to try many different things and looking back here are some of my problems that I may have in some of my work according to reviews.

Grammar – That will take more time.

Some OOC ( Out of Character ) moments in really experimental writing styles

Stories are too short ( Most of my fanfiction ranges between 750 – 3000 words )

Good points: Romance people actually enjoy

Female main romance ( Female characters being the emotional rock)

Good details when I am sticking to small things to try out.

Good personality evolution

Strong emotion and mostly in tune writing style to the original source material. One comment I had gotten said how similar it was to the writing style of the anime in this case Outlaw Star, colored me happy.

Hitting the books – What I want to write

As I may have alluded to I want to do some publishing somewhere before my funeral.

One is something called 100 Ingredients: Home Edition. This book would be just talking about how different ingredients are handled and common applications over different recipes. This is going to be for people who are not the most comfortable in the kitchen. I was hoping to do more books in this line of thought with different sets of ingredients. That’s putting things too far ahead though. People who know how to cook will have something to gain from reading it. It has recipes in it, but it will be more focusing on the ingredient so you ( the readers ) can come up with your own recipes a lot easier.

The second is called Life, Love and Cooking. It is set up so you can read one page for every day of the year and it goes over dishes, experiences I have had in the kitchen, Working in the industry and some of the adventures I have gone on. Other cooks can laugh at some of the mistakes. People who want to get in the industry know some of the goings on. People who burn water will hopefully not and every one wins.

The typing is done on both and I have gotten some good returns from agents just not good enough to be contract worthy. Yet.

Fanfiction

Fanfiction is the act of taking a previously made set of characters from a media source and using your own imagination and writing style creating a story from it. Often times fanfiction will push certain characters as a couple or have another plot outside of the series or game it came from. Fanfiction is a very popular form of entertainment for some of the more devout fans of a series or game. The stories ore often held either on websites for a certain category or pairing with a couple being open to many different kinds of fanfiction.

I use it to try different things as well as writing styles I’m not comfortable with. So when I have some time and the thought to add to a fanfic or stop a couple I don’t think I can save right now then either way I can learn from it. Trying to get published

For those who never wanted to write a book you have to talk to people called literary agents. Often times they will have to go through these massive piles of people’s work just to get to yours. Even if they get to it there will be a rather a high chance that they will not like it. This does not mean your work is bad it just means that your work does not fit in to their business model. Some people will rant about not getting published saying how some of these people may be heartless, and maybe some are.

I don’t know them personally though so I won’t judge. I just have to think to myself that they are doing what they believe are the best moves for their own businesses. Can you blame someone for trying to eke out a living? I really can’t most times so I just sign it off as they may not want it now, and try again either later in the creation process or after another round of editing.

Often times all they will see of your work is two chapters tops as well as a query letter. which essentially amounts to a lottery pick if they have an opening, and winning it if you get a contract. Nothing wrong with a little luck. You will get aggravated, maybe even full fledged angry. Just try to do something where you can pour in your frustrations before coming back refreshed with the right mindset to continue moving forward. It can be worth it if you try enough.
