This will be one of two posts on this subject, I will be finishing up my paperwork for the district 4 City Council position election this week and that will mean a couple things. The only other post that will talk about the election specifically or my efforts in it is going to be the reveal of my campaign page and after that this will just be my thoughts and my blog. It may deal with some topics like before but it will not talk about the campaign or my efforts on it.
Now, there are a lot of political questions. I am not going to answer them. What I will answer is something that people may ask who know me, and those who may have never heard of me be wondering.
Why do something like this?
Over the years it took me to learn how I work in the world and it is something where I can be loud but I am more of a get your work done and look towards the next goal. This is something that I will be putting myself in the spotlight to some degree due to the position involved. Honestly, it’s a big move for someone who six years ago was just getting off the street trying to make by with everything they got.
Six years have taken me from the state capitol to the nation’s capitol and from the federal court in Portland to the federal reserve and the bipartisan policy center. I have written books, and I have gotten in better shape despite still being built like Thwomp from Super Mario. We need people to listen and work on getting things done, and this week part of my work was using the time my building had lost its power to see the issues that someone disabled may have if they had to get out of a building quickly.
I banged my shins up hard doing that.
Why do something like this?
There is a way I do it, that makes me the best choice, in my very skewed opinion, and even more so I made a promise once and this may be how I intend to keep it. Also, you can tell I am nervous when I forget to schedule the posts and leave it just waiting for me to hit publish.
[argle bargle]
If this is the worst mistake, forgetting to hit publish on a blog post during the start of a campaign then I think we can be happy with that.
Today Zohran won his mayor race, not surprised and people are already cheering. Sneako the average Twitch fool was calling how only ‘real new yorkers’ will stay.
This is what annoys me, the idea of someone can promise the moon with everyone who can count knowing it cannot be done. Let me give you a prediction, New York will lose money and business because the cost of doing business will now be more then the cost of moving to somewhere more comfortable.
His promises of state-run grocery stores, free buss systems, and rent control will be no closer when he is done then when his term is done. This is something that annoys me though because I am not in New York and I could have told you that. State run grocery stores will at minimum cause an exodus of other stores and then when they can’t maintain keeping the process and logistics up it will not be able to get the food they had delivered in a proper manner.
Free Bus systems? I mean I work around transportation in a lot of volunteer work. That will take maybe billions, and they do not have the money or the tax base to push on to get that done. If they did, they would need to raise taxes and that will be a minimum of help needed from the state.
As for rent control, it has not worked. In fact, recently Javier Milei in Argentina removed rent control and the rent went down. 30% over two years. The market had made everything much more fluid and that caused the prices to fall. We have a group of people willing to be fed lies for votes and are shocked when nothing comes to pass.
None of this will work as it stands save some outside factor beyond thought or an act of economic mercy from a great power. Now, Portland is actually ahead of the curve because we currently have a socialist city council we have done nothing and in fact have been a shame upon their jobs. Any set of beliefs in itself generally is not a bad thing because the world will dictate one has to be flexible in their thinking to survive.
What I hate with a burning passion is zealotry. Politics, religion, anything that can make you blind to the color of an apple sitting on your desk just because someone else said it was another color and made word salad to cover it. Which funnily enough the new mayor of New York said he didn’t say anything about the grocery stores on CNN, and explained how he wanted to pick a fight with Trump.
Let me be clear, Trump annoys me too, a lot of people do. The greatest blow a democrat or group of democrats can do is to make a city that had been known for high taxes, for filth, and for using the power of state and local office unfairly is to get a city back to full running order and under budget. One city does that and every town and city will look at it wondering how they can do that and you will have people wanting to learn the plan.
Instead, we get the plan of Zohran, of Wyden and of the Portland Peacock Parade that we need to pick a fight. That fight has left us with less money, less resources, less people wanting to come here and more people moving out.
Instead of that we have someone in New York who has zero experience in anything getting away on lies he has to know he can’t commit to. In Virginia someone got elected after talking about how someone’s kids should be targeted with X and Reddit just celebrating tonight like it was the midterms. Congrats, this victory may be the best one you get.
Tell me what the republicans gathered from this?
That so long as someone as a D by their name they are all good. Sex offenders, violent zealots, so long as you have the stamp you are fine. That was the biggest point they used in a lot of ads, they are the party of hope and love. We just tossed that title into the trash and set it on fire. It angers me because it does no one in the long run any good. Midterms are going to be much different and now the party that the democrats have to deal with just got a note saying they don’t care unless they win.
We did not just win a hard fight, we just put the cape in front of the bull.
There are videos currently debating about something called the insurrection act, for those who do not know of it. It is a piece of legal doctrine that has been in the country in some form or function since the times of Jefferson.
“Whenever the President considers that unlawful obstructions, combinations, or assemblages, or rebellion against the authority of the United States, make it impracticable to enforce the laws of the United States in any State by the ordinary course of judicial proceedings, he may call into Federal service such of the militia of any State, and use such of the armed forces, as he considers necessary to enforce those laws or to suppress the rebellion.”
Now the bar for this is rather high, generally you need either a city or state completely over run or unwilling to enforce the law, the last time this was used was in the LA Riots in the early nineties.
Looking in the issues in the city let me go over something that no one in the city wants to deal with.
Due to the actions of our city council, mayor and, governor is why Trump can do this.
Let me explain, the president cannot use this because he does not like the city because if it were the case the penalties after the actions had been finished would mean the president could be under severe penalty.
Currently we have at minimum two investigations against the Portland Police Department, one for regular federal and another for civil rights violations. The city has allowed a group to take over a block of a street including a road allowing them to dictate traffic and enforcement without so much as a parade route request filed.
Antifa has here gotten the benefit of multiple mayors and city councils back since I started this blog six years ago. I sat through multiple riots as a homeless person saw other homeless people be attacked but the press wanted to force it on the proud boys, they couldn’t and despite the crimes of the proud boys beating the homeless was not one of them. Now it seems Portland is allowing this so I am going to let the secret go they don’t want anyone to realize.
Trump would not be here without them, these politicians from the mayor to the council to even the governor made moves to strengthen the capabilities of the federal government to handle business. The worst part is there is not a thing they can do about it. In case law Portland has declared the road in front of the facility to be theirs to take care of, and not enforcing there would be enough, however this is where they have liaison officers stand by when the city has a 20 minute average on calls where seconds mean the difference between life and death. We have city councilors asking soldiers to abandon post and to show how to hide phone records using burner phones. We have a mayor and governor who instead of solving problems will happily walk down in marches where no one is going to change their opinion just so they can be seen.
There are a hundred problems in the city but the sheer mockery of their jobs for the sake of being seen as a rising star in local politics is not going to allow them to do anything. Downtown Portland has a business vacancy rate going past 35%. One in three now.
One thing is that Portland wanted to pick this fight, these politicians wanted to have a rebel complex and instead of doing their jobs this is what they deemed important. That is the biggest problem, these politicians would rather take brownie points from their own circles instead of doing their jobs like the rest of us have to deal with. That is not a quality of a good politician or of a good person for the city and the angering thing is that no matter what your view in politics, it is just broadway, an act to make people feel better, and it sucks but it has to be said because with those actions the only thing it does is strengthen trumps position.
We need people to work, to do their jobs and not try to invite problems, and right now I do not see a lot in local government I would say is doing that.
It means because of those who want to provoke instead of problem solve we have a disaster only getting worse. That has left me personally with more questions than answers.
Stay strong.
Also, I had to sleep a lot due to health so I’m counting this as my post for yesterday.
It has been almost one full year since I had done more of these posts, and you may wonder why. I did not want to waste the time when I was not sure what to write myself. It had been one of those things that had bothered me but where we are at I think we have a lot to go over.
For those who do not know I do use my Instagram, although not as rampantly as before. First, there is something I do want to talk about.
Charlie Kirk and Turning Point USA has been something I had joined in the year, even though according to some I am more on the left. I think if you put all my ideas on the line between left and right I think it would even out, but I will say I am thankful for joining TPUSA because it got me to look at my beliefs more in depth and while I did not believe with some, no one believed everything 100%, but the talking was something important to the group.
Being part of TPUSA did not mean that I had to believe everything that Charlie Kirk did, and in fact there was some issues we did differ, but as some of the people wanted to have a conversation there was a time where I had to find and figure out more in depth what I believed and why. This process made me realize there are people who are going to be lost not because they believe differently but because some people have values and use it on what they believe in politics while the people I have the biggest problem are with people who look at politics as the moral structure not thinking how politics need to bend.
It is weird, because even Charlie Kirk had things where he disagreed with, but that was okay, it did not stop him working with people and I think if you do not agree with someone but are still going to at least see them as people. Versus the opposing side where hard impassioned leftists claim where they have to agree and the people they associate with have to be the kinds they agree with and that just means they are losing out and making their side smaller with each move.
Now those hard leftists may have a good idea on something but the problem is also they have been is that their zealotry for their own beliefs means you have to have belief in everything or it counts to nothing.
I am sorry but for people who hated him. If you thought Charlie Kirk was a homophobe because he personally did not agree with homosexuality, but still worked with it, treated it as a difference of opinion so people can walk their paths, then I am sorry but that says more about you.
Also, new rule, you can’t suddenly try to debate a person because they are dead and can’t answer when their work had been to talk about things. It makes you look like you had points so weak that it couldn’t stand to a string of Christmas lights shining on it. Sorry, Bill Maher here we do have a habit of gimmick infringement, but for everyone I do hope it gave you a chuckle.
Stay Strong.
Rest Well Charlie. I don’t agree with everything, but if we see each other again, I got the first drinks for the sake of thanks.
Time, you always lose it and for some reason you always need more. Some people may fret and some get a little chaotic. So what is on the docket for me this month?
Classes, I am a full time student and that means there is a lot of homework to do. There are reasons I need to stay on honor roll so there cannot be any times to falter. All of this takes time and it is first on my list of objectives.
Second, is Game of Tomes where the plan is to collect a third victory. Currently I have been first twice, and been in second twice when it comes to the individual writing amounts. Two major writing projects have been completed and there are still a few more that I can try to get done. All of this is good, but there a lot of power writers in the game and there has to be some point where they catch up. Homework takes so much time that getting time to write is going to be tough. Also, because of the competitions I am entering later in the year it is not like I can take my easy classes off. I got to go full force into making all of this happen.
Third, has to be the Destiny 2 rank, it is a game but there is enough time in it that I would like to do well and there would be a little smirk to see that I made it to at least rank 10. The plan is still to get to rank 11, and all this despite dashing around from point to point there is still enough to be able to fit it in.
Somewhere between first and second is making sure my transition to university goes well. Just between all of that it is looking like there is little time left, but right now as I am doing all of this there is working out when you can and making sure you try to do more for your physical health. To get stronger, and faster, and all against the half energy that is growing, maybe because of the pain that all the nerve attacks that won’t let me sleep. It would be funny if that for all the problems and how many times it left me exhausted, also made me able to still fight on.
All to chase some dragons. Part of me is smiling because the odds are more against me then with me. This old snake in the grass still has some venom left in him, ya know. Hopefully, things are doing well for you as well, things are tough, they are the times that will test you, and you can disappoint yourself very easy. Take it one step at a time, and you can make it further then you ever thought.
Everything going on in the Blazers being bad currently, I thought there should be something said. Despite how little I talk now about basketball I used to be a major trailblazers fan. Unfortunately, as a warning, if you have met someone who has been a fan for more then a decade you need to go and give them a hug. If they had done more then two decades then please let them know everything is all right. They keep cheering for their home team but it never gets any better and are constantly hurt.
Greg Oden, Sam Bowie, our drafting has been painful. Our scouting even more painful. During all these times there had been some pride that came from being better than we actually were. We would make playoffs sometimes but often were stopped by Kobe’s Lakers. Then we also had the JailBlazers. That was a time most fans could go on without. I bring all this up because now one of the biggest stars in modern Portland history wants a trade. He has not been given the tools to succeed and he would like to get a championship.
Understandable, if the management is not getting you the help then you need to leave, not happy with it, but it speaks to the leadership then to him. We have the timbers and thorns, which Soccer in America is the lowest of the major sports, and that is it. All of which is rather infuriating because there have been efforts to get Portland a MLB team. We would need to get a capable arena for them and we would need to have enough people back it causing everything to be at premium rates.
Then there is the hockey chance we had. We could have had a hockey team. Portland could have had a pro hockey team. We could have had the NHL give us a team, and we have the arena so we don’t have to pay to build one. so much money and we would have a team in the playoffs if they mirrored Seattle currently. Nope, they decided we did not need the money. Brilliance.
Yup. I feel the same way.
We don’t even have arena football anymore, not because of issue with fans, but because we had management that couldn’t figure out how to be honest about their finances. Another major sports team would have done wonders right now because right now Portland does not have a lot, we don’t have titles, or major scenes and we have more interest in either soccer or alternative sports in America. Look, you can go back in this blog and find receipts.
It is aggravating when people seem to try and fuck it up for the sake of their own bottom line, or their own stupidity, and unfortunately if stupidity was a sport then Portland and the people running the sport scene and management would be able to have medaled for the past 20 years. There is a market here, but stupidity seems to stop it, and right now it seems to stop a lot. Still bothers the ever loving piss out of me.
So, today’s contribution for me being the next oracle of delphi is fresh from the Oregonian. Mind you, this is the biggest paper in the region, and when I was beating the drums that we have problems back when we could have fixed it without major issue a few years ago, there had been some who had called me out for being pessimistic because the Oregonian didn’t talk about it. Go. Read the Opinion from the paper that people said they will come around when this paper does. While you do that please be aware of all the things in the past tense. The tense that things already occurred, the tense that actions have been committed.
The only reason I bring it up that I was right, was because I do not want to hear ow so many people could not have seen it.
Look at it all, read the article and let it echo especially if you were the kind thinking I as pessimist, because those people with high end college degrees? I was right. The city commissioners who said they know better? I was right. The people who lived in the pearl or in the expensive towers who thought they had a better grasp? I was right. People who thought measure 110 was going to happen and make the city perfect when I thought it would make it right? The only right was me, and all the others who could read to a third grade level and could see what was going on, and not be given nice words or pretty pictures when all of it is fake.
Between blog posts, less then seven days, no less then a business has shuddered a day. A day brings the death toll for a business some with thirty, forty, fifty years and all of them are now shells. Considering there are not enough to replace them means a bit of a problem. No longer helping the community, no longer making it better. Some may think I am being a bit crass, but when you are right, time and time again, and people do not listen, because I am not the only one, this is not some rocket science we are calculating on our fingers here.
I want Portland to be better, I want it to be the city I love again. However, the people who are so lost seem to put their hands up just saying an oops and then walking off like they did the right thing anyway. Well things have been a bit of a riddle, because I do not have the supplies to make any store or anywhere in Portland right now, not enough anyway to make more of a difference. Because one has to remember there is not a lot of help from the police, insurance is going to be higher, and often times one has to defend themselves, their has to be a way, but their needs to be a way to bring about ideas for business that bring back some of the safety of before.
Donald Trump has been brought in under suspicion of 34 charges of business fraud. A lot of people are cheering that he will finally be caught, but here are my thoughts. I am not a lawyer, but there is a lot of business woven through this so just my thoughts from a loudmouth.
Considering this is based around a time almost a decade ago. They have to prove that he falsified records with the intent to commit or conceal another crime. Here is why I am not holding my breath.
First, this man whether you love him or hate him, has one of the biggest war chests available. Prosecution can’t push out the clock like they can with those with less funds, he can afford and will afford to make his case as easy to fight as possible and from the D.A’s own office it comes down to three main charges.
Now, one thing we need to make clear before going any further is there are thing that may not meet moral standard, but are legal. One is it is not illegal to pay someone if they have an unflattering story about you, that is why often in many settlements it cannot be talked about. Just from the D.A the first of three three major points is not going to hold well.
Going to the third, there was already a special counsel who got in trouble for doing this paying an adult film actress $130,000 now one can have two people be charged for the same thing, but if the payment was handled by counsel, and trump just said to get it paid, then that would most likely be on the counsel and not on Teflon Don. Which leaves the second point.
American Media Inc, they admitted what they did was unlawful that they made false pretenses to take that money, but the issue as it stands is not the payment of the money, but how it was received. That would be a problem on AMI, not Trump.
In short I doubt he gets anything more then a fine, and that is if that.
It is legal to pay for people with negative stories for their silence, it is legal to hide it, it is not moral. What is not moral. That a case this honestly soft would be brought forward. It smacks of a last minute throw at the end of the game, because the state of New York basically just said to the guy who could say is a master of loopholes that they know the rules better then he does. Considering How the State of New York is handling their own businesses I would think will be a calamity. You know what this also does though?
How many republican groups are watching this and are taking notes on how to do this better because some of the states of many democratic presidents can now dredge up the past for the exact same thing, and most likely with more chance for success. Never teach your enemy and right now the class is in for those who have backed Trump to any degree and I can tell you a lot of people are taking notes. Let us not even go into political bias, because when CNN has to do a survey and even most of those people see this as being a political biased then we are taking a turn down some bad moves. For those who are happy to see the political pressure brought down in law then you cannot under any condition complain when the republicans are deciding to start with the D.A of the case.
Never, ever, EVER train your enemies. While you will get first chance at the idea or tactic they will be able to see you bumble through it and they can watch to see mistakes they don’t need to make. That would be making their efforts overall more fruitful.
Back to three major moments. The second is really the only thing that would be the best chances of the three, but remember there are still a lot of questions to answer, like when did Trump specifically do the falsifying of records? Because my thought is he would know just to tell someone to get it done and have them do as they need to do without his knowledge, he is given plausible deniability and if that is the case there could be grounds to see him innocent on all charges. On top of that considering how long it has been since the charges there is a possibility that it may have been too long, we shall see on that.
For any charge, any single charge the case needs to be locked up, air tight, in the ocean, shot with a full drum of ammo and blesses by several preachers, because if there is any crack, any chance it will be looked it with the best eyes money can buy and it will be seen as weakness. If Donald Trump gets out of this without a serious sentence (prison time), then I feel the party behind him will be galvanized enough to push him to a second term. Not the D.A the bad press, or those who hate him with such vitriol will stop it.
In other news, my knights are in the playoffs for the Stanley cup. Small positives.
The city of Portland seems to read my blog because a few weeks ago I made a post that I wouldn’t write on it unless it was just something abyssal. A new high in low. It seems that it looked at my blog post, handed me a half open bottle of some hipster brew and asked me to hold it because it seems every day since then it decided to just keep digging for the grail in stupidity and I wonder here if they had focused such efforts into something good the progress that would be made.
Never ask how bad dumb a group of politicians can be. I should have known.
So, rapid fire because Portland leadership is a font of idiocy so deep that we could only approximate the bottom. One. Jo Ann Hardesty One could lead a class on morals by taking what she had done in her job as commissioner and simply going, don’t do that. Now, that would be rude, she would have had to do one thing of good. Right?
Well, after running up debt and then being sued for it and then the hit and run debacle and then the uber debacle and then being an idiot in the pandemic, and the being an idiot during the homeless issue and backing the politics that drove business in the ground, and then not pushing for punishing the D.A for not charging those who had politics similar. I mean all of these are absolutely shameful. Calling a political opponent Republican when he is not just because he has a different opinion. Now, some may see that statement and think I support Rene. I have not seen his work and right now there has to be a major amount of work done for me not to count him as an abject failure just because he wanted the position. It is the risk that comes from people failing at it for long periods and really if one could fire the commissioners since Hales then many would.
The mayor before Wheeler I used to call him as interesting as wallpaper paste, now I have to say he had to be smarter then any person in politics. That or, he was one of the luckiest because after that things went down at the speed of gravity. Where things hoped to have change is after a cycle with the main morons and people went, there is no better candidate, no one wants to run and now we are happy with this. Well, happy is not the word I would use but people have shown they are willing to look away as long as things still stay as normal.
Wheeler, the mayor, went out to protest with people he thought would be the base of the city only to find out that he was wrong. Went on pushing the ideology and backed by the movements of the D.A crime spiraled out of control, police budgets cut, and then the spiral grew wider. There will be a time where Portland has to begin to grow but the ideology of the past decade needs to be discarded for the toxic process that it has been. Not because the political party is toxic, it isn’t but because what has taken Portland has been thought to be for some moral superiority and brilliant action when morally its often disgusting under the surface and tactically its as useful as a paper seat belt.
This is not going to Brown and what she did because she caused damages as well a lot of them, but everyone thought they could stand together against Trump instead of actually working on bettering their areas. If it had been done it would be the greatest flaunting against their foes because what the president had wished when those described above hated him, could look to their city and say. We are doing it and we got it. That would be too hard they found out and did the political thing of try to get people to look away except there was no place to look without their failings on full display. It is now something where other cities and states look at, and go ‘don’t be like that’.
I wish there was some good news, but there isn’t and won’t be for a while, but everything can change and Portland will too, it just may take some time.
Funny thing about life. There are things where people will have disagreements, like my last post. I disagreed with Adam of Adam ruins everything, but there was respect there. Only some will agree on something, and sometimes it is better when we don’t on subjects that take some depth to really get to issues. People will learn in different ways. I may change, and others may change, but the passion for doing better drives us all on that one.
Then we have this.
For those who do not know, I am disabled. I harp on the subject a bit. First, I do not know about the issues or who is saying them all that is laid before me is how people react. Seeing that there was never a greater need to imbibe the volume of the Willamette River in bourbon than watching people specifically after the debate.
Listen, politics is the next great blood sport. People will look to their political side like they used to during the Yankees-Red Sox feud or the Cowboys- 49’ers feuds if you are familiar with Baseball or American Football. An international one would be Manchester United and Liverpool for those familiar with Euro Football or Soccer. Each of those feuds brings something where the fans are not only emotionally invested but also combative of the opposing side. In some cases can be nothing more than adding fuel to the competition, but here is the problem.
Politics is not a competition. It isn’t a game with winners and losers, and the fact that it is being looked at in that way shows some of the reasons we are having some problems. For example, among my friends from high school, there is a marine (conservative) Mormon (more conservative), Jehova’s witness (semi-conservative), and a farmer (conservative). If you asked them, they would say I am a liberal, not as an insult, I look at things differently, but we can always discuss what is on our minds and afterward find a way to come to some ground we can all agree on in majority, where some of the details we may not like. Still, the majority of the action is approved.
So, this made watching the comments from others and the article created by the New York Times (above) felt like a migraine powered by a thousand symbol-clapping monkeys. Looking back to see what had been said about both sides makes the monkeys get a stereo system. It makes it much louder because this is especially going on as of late. People are using identity as a defense, some defending Fetterman, who had just come out of a stroke, a major medical event, to a debate.
Now, this is one of two ways, either one, Fetterman had the passion for trying and continuing but did not have the way to make a showing of skills to make up for the loss of skills in the stroke, which could very well be temporary. His passion made a choice in this scenario where discretion would have been the better form of valor. He did not do well in the debate, but he made the decision thinking he could show what his strengths were.
The second way is his team backed him into it, thinking they could together show the strengths that maybe he could not on his own and take care of the public relations issues, not knowing what may come back. Now, in this case, one can look to the media giving the sudden disability tag and trying to make it an identity case when legitimate points are brought up.
Looking at the kind of pieces written about from both sides, it is clear that disability is being used as a defense for a bad situation, so let me say this to groups like the New York Times or anyone else who think taking it suddenly when things go bad. The identitarian political clubbing that causes people to reach for disabled, black, jew, and more like they were weapons in an arena is sickening and cheapens the experiences and problems we have gone through. It degrades the experiences the people have had and sows discord for those when people honestly want to use what experiences they have accrued to the service of the group, whether in politics or in specific teams. So, for those who think this is okay, where one can be black or disabled to get a couple extra points in something because you feel a lead slipping away. Let me say this.
Screw You.
Screw your paper, screw your reporting, screw this identitarian clubbing, screw the political bloodsport, screw it all with a drill deep enough that it can be driven into the ground and out of sight like some moral version of the elephant’s foot in Chernobyl, where people only remember it knowing what disaster we caused and look to it to make sure we never do it again. The only reason the disabled tag was taken by those is there was a hope it would be used to gain favor and defenders in the light of a bad showing. Not taking into account the people who can’t get disability payments because they are trying to still make something out of themselves, not those who died with the last knowledge they had that the supposed nets for them did not want to pay out. Not taking into account that being disabled seems to be dictated by political leaning as well nowadays. Taking a title of a group of people with enough problems, and no one in politics seems to want to give them answers or at least a hand, makes me want to ask exactly who thought it was a great idea.
Screw you for those who died with nothing, only for a case to be paid to their next of kin. Screw you for those who work themselves, knowing doing so at paces they need to without help will drop the axe on their finances. This is me angry about it because this has no reason. It was the move of someone trying to paint a picture that had no right existing.
Not to Fetterman or his team or both. If they were in agreement, they made a decision, but it didn’t work. Come back stronger and the best of health to Mr. Fetterman. No idea what your politics are about or even if I agree with a single point. We get stronger when we defend our points and grow in the weaknesses they present.
