Portland Police is infinitely disappointing, this has been something that I have given the benefit of the doubt for years, and you can go see that in past posts about trusting the police so they can do a good job.

That was of course years ago when I had hope that it was just a lack of resources and not a serious lack of execution. From what I have seen that is what we have. We have a group of political class people who want to keep doing the same thing and turn this city into a cauldron of failure and to date have not done one single thing they claimed they would. Mitch Green has to be the biggest disappointment in the council to me.

He ran on housing affordability and students have been kicked out, the number of apartments has not changed in any meaningful measure. He ran on public safety and it has in fact gotten worse which is an achievement when cops don’t show up half the time within fifteen minutes with lives on the line. He is an economist that can’t do math, he is a politician who changes parties as soon as he cannot be removed and all of it is a fathom level lower than what we need as someone in office.

It just seems there is a lot of disappointments, of those willing to use the city without trying to help it.

I do not like it seeing my city being played the fool trying to stir the fears of those who do not know better.

How disgusting does the government have to be when they use the people in such a way.
